Nice Quality Lap Desk

I work from home a lot and needed something that was easily moved around the house and on the road. This works perfectly. It is made of nice quality materials. The natural bamboo wood is sturdy, and the cloth padding is well stitched and soft making it comfortable to sit on your lap. It has a small pad at the bottom to keep your laptop/tablet from sliding off and a built-in mouse pad on one side which is a great feature and very convenient. Definitely 5 stars, recommend!

Work From Home Command Station

I purchased this for my wife to help her move away from the desk and be able to work from more locations around the house. I didn't expect that she would love it as much as she does. It's very sturdy and stable, and lets her just pick up the laptop and move it wherever she wants to be, on the lap, or on a desk. The slight incline is great for typing, and the phone/tablet holders are a great addition for productivity. She doesn't use the ground wire (it has a nice pouch it stays tucked into) most of the time, but it's a nice added feature that lots of modern devices are adopting. The top is very flat and solid, and overall, it weights more than you would assume. The mousepads for either side are great whether you're a righty or lefty, and whether you're using a mouse or need to scribble a note. The padding for the wrists is a bit on the high side initially, but with use it will settle down to a more manageable height. It's not overly warm or heavy on the lap, and is wide enough to distribute the weight very evenly. Best Features - Large and Sturdy - Ambidestrous built in mousepads

This exceeded my expectations. The wrist wrest is high quality and comfortable. Mouse pad is nice. The construction is high quality. Worth every penalty and now my junk is no longer under EMF attack.

First lapdesk with room enough, cushioning enough, and sturdy enough to satisfy me

I've tried many lap desks. I use a laptop computer all the time, both in bed and at a folding table in front of my chair, and a lap desk is essential to hold it. I've used a classic kidney-shaped, plywood lap desk for a long time. And it's done the job. But there's nothing to give the laptop an angle to be more comfortable, it's large and awkward, and things slide right off. This lap desk is solidly built. The cushions underneath are sturdy foam, as is the wrist rest at the front. It's the first one I've seen with a built in cord for EMF protection. The cord is stored in a cloth pocket on the underside, is long, and plugs into the grounding socket on any standard 3-prong outlet. Protection against static - I've sometimes had a problem with static here in Central New York, especially in winter. The air gets dry, you walk across the carpet, and wind up zapping your devices if you're not careful. This is the first lap desk I've used comfortably in bed. I don't have to set it on a pillow, I can just sit back against my headboard and put the desk on my lap. Best attempt at a stand for my laptop I've found yet! Well worth the money!
